Hilarious photos huh?
I spent many hours on the phone last night with The Gorgeous Bee. We had many a laugh and I think it’s really great to be able to speak and relate and compare lapbands with people who are in the exact same boat as I am. Bee is a total cool chick and I appreciate her support, her friendship and her words of wisdom. Bee you are a little ray of sunshine!!!
I am still on holidays and I am seriously enjoying being a slackarse and doing my own thing. This is bliss.
I slept in until 8am and as soon as I woke up I threw my trainers on and went for a run it was nice and sunny this morning and it was just gorgeous to be out there on the bitumen. I did my 28 minutes and I tried so hard to push myself for that one minute more and I tried I really did but I was not successful as my thighs and quads were just shaking from the pain. I love that feeling. As for my heart, well it was boomboomboom racing so fast and my lungs were about ready to collapse. It was all good though.
I had an appointment with my accountant to do my taxes today. I had totally forgotten about doing them! I thought here we go again, am I going to have to pay the taxman again? Well all because of the lap band surgery I am most likely to get back a HUGE tax return and I am stoked. I think this is the first time in many years that the government gives me something back. Woohoo. Am I going to save it? Fuck that shit!!! There's this pair of shoes I have been admiring, ohh and this handbag and my God just think of all the CD’s and books I can buy!!! Muahahahaha!!!
I spent the majority of my day in shopping centres basically paying bills, putting some money on some laybys and all that sort of stuff. I feel like I have run a marathon, as it has been non-stop. I looked down at my pedometer and today alone I managed to do 17,543 steps. How amazing is that?
I eventually got home and decided that I would dye my hair. I haven’t done a home dye job for at least 10 years. I just can’t seem to get in to see my hairdresser, which gives me the absolute shits. I went in only a few weeks ago to have a “hair consultation” and now I cant get in to see her. Bugger! Bugger! Bugger! So I decided that if so many women can do home dye jobs then so can I. Before I go on I have to say, how bloody cheap is a box of hair dye? If that’s what it costs then bloody hell the mark up at the hairdressers is just astronomical!!!
Well, what do I say? It was such hard work!! I got hair dye everywhere and I mean EVERYWHERE. I then wrapped glad wrap around my head as that what my hairdresser usually does. I don’t know why they do this (can anybody explain?) so I did that and took some photos using my laptop and I lost it! I was screaming with laughter. Hence the photos. I like to take the piss out of myself. Hee hee. My hair turned out BLACK. A very blue black and I think it’s too harsh for me and I look a bit scary. I will try this colour for a few weeks and I shall see how I go.
As for food, well I haven’t really had the time to be hungry if that makes any sense as I have been on the go, go, go.
That’s the juice for today.
