Day 93 - 2 guys, a girl and her dog.

What an absolutely gorgeous day it is in Melbourne today!!! The sun is shining and its just glorious.

I had a great night last night. Alister and I went to my local for a couple of drinks. We had such a laugh. I stuck to water but I also gave into temptation and had a lemon, lime and bitters as well. The taste and fizz of the drink was fantastic and the tingling sensation was really, really strange. The pub was noisy much to my delight as I was letting out the most earth thundering burps it was hilarious. The funny thing was that it looked like Alister and I were kissing but what we were doing was putting our heads together and burping into each others ears. Hee hee. Simple things amuse simple minds I guess.

At one point I went up to the bar to buy the next round of drinks (I never EVER allow a man to pay for me) and as I was standing there waiting to be served this guy smiled at me so I smiled back. As I smiled the diamond on my tooth sparkled and the conversation began a little something like this:

Guy: “Wow, your smile just sparkled”
R: “Ohh yeah, I have a diamond stuck on my tooth, see? That’s why I sparkle”
So the guy came in closer and said
Guy: “Oh yeah!! Did that hurt? How did you get that put on?"
By this stage the bar man decided to join in
It must have looked rather bizarre to have this overweight girl grinning like The Joker from Batman and pointing to her tooth with these two men pushing their faces towards her (me) and concentrating on this girl’s mouth. Here I was though lapping up all the attention and flirting when Mr. Party Pooper Alister had to come along and wreck all my fun. What a motherfucker!!!

So this morning I managed to get out of bed nice and early and ran around the house vacuuming and making sure that everything was nice and tidy as I had a huge day ahead of me. I firstly raced to mums and we did our grocery shopping at the Organic Supermarket and then I raced home, re-did my hair and makeup and then ManBoy came over so we could go and do some shopping.

We hit Chadstone Shopping Centre and it was a blast. We then went down to JB and he introduced me to a few of his friends down there. Guys can be real bitches sometimes as some of them did the up and down look. It was almost like what is HE doing with HER, yeah I know I’m overweight but so what! Does it really matter? Does it change what’s inside and who I am as a person? I said nothing to ManBoy as it isn’t his fault that his work mates are male bitches and it’s not ManBoy's issue its mine.

We sat down and had some lunch and then continued shopping. I didn’t buy much just a few tops and ManBoy bought a tie and an engagement present. We then headed back to my place and sat on my balcony sipping some juice we made with my juicer. ManBoy then got up and cleared everything up...I certainly am not used to this sort of behavior from a male friend. (I think its because I am used to dating sloppy slob like pigs) ManBoy asked me if I could please help him wrap the present. I love wrapping presents up and I managed to put heaps and heaps of ribbons on the gift. It looked great!!! A Reney Masterpiece. ManBoy went home at about 4ish, as he had to go and get ready for his friend’s engagement party.

I have to say that Elvis was all over ManBoy. I am pleased that my dog likes him. That's extremely important to me.

So tonight Alister is coming over to watch DVD’s together, I have decided that he needs to be punished due to interrupting my performance with my audience at the pub last night so I have chosen the DVD’s for the evening. He thinks that he is coming over to watch Borat and Jackass 2 except in reality we will be viewing The Devil wears Prada and Amelie (a chick flick marathon).

So with that I best get up and go for a quick run before he gets here.
