I awoke at 6.00am this morning and I immediately got dressed and went for a run. It was such a gorgeous morning. I managed 28 minutes and for some reason I simply am struggling with that extra few minutes. I will get there even if it kills me.
I then spent the next 11 hours literally on my feet and running around. I am now finally resting my arse and my feet are killing me (and its 9.30pm!!!). That has been the only negative part of my day – sore feet!!! Apart from that today was simply an amazing happy day. If I died tonight I can say that I lived today like it was my last.
After showering I got dressed and off to Prahran Market I went. My cousin Gee and my bestie V do nothing but rave about this market so off mum and I went. Ohmigod the fresh food was simply out of this world. Totally awesome. I then got home and cleaned my pig sty of a home whilst I had my stereo cranked on 11 bopping out to Cheap Trick. Once I had finished I did a double take, as I could not believe how clean my house looked. I was sooo full of beans that I met up with my bestie V and Gee and Tashi and Dee and we managed a few hours of shopping and coffee. I can only speak for myself but I had a great time and hanging with my Tashi and Dee just rocks…I love my little chickadees.
After shopping I decide to walk from my parents home to Gee’s house which usually takes me 30 minutes but Elvis and I managed to do it in a mere 19 minutes. Woohoo motherfuckers!!! How awesome is that?
So now I am home finally relaxing and awaiting ManBoy’s call. Today was sheer non-stop and sheer madness but I really did have a good day. Food was great, water was awesome and I managed a good ton of exercise. I never thought that having the lap band would make this UP and this happy.
Also, before I finish up tonight I have to say that I love nothing better than taking the piss out of myself. So a few days ago I put up some photos of my head wrapped in glad wrap well today’s photos I thought were bloody hilarious and I had to include them. These are me with a replenishing face mask on (Olay) and I think they are sooo funny. I hope you find them funny too.
