Ohmigod (yes, one word, you need to read that really fast and pronounce it as one word ohmigod…have you got it?) How fucking freezing was it in Melbourne today? If there are any readers who aren’t from Melbourne let me describe today. It was a cold morning, which isn’t unusual I mean it is winter after all but slowly throughout the day the skies were just getting darker and darker.
Then it started to pelt down with rain and thunder and then hail. What I found really amusing is that one of my work colleagues Tei who originates from Finland and has only lived in Australia for a few years started to freak out. She was laughing and saying “I thought Australian was a tropical island, that’s what they taught me at school in Finland” I laughed along with her and said “Girl, this is typical Melbourne weather” Damn I love the cold. I love the rain and the hail. I was craving to be out there in the hail and rain running. How mad would that be?
Anyways, I came home for lunch today and stood washing some dishes and munching on lunch at the same time. I took a bite of my brown rice ball and I admit I ate it a bit fast when suddenly I got the chest pain and then the most painful hiccups. Have you ever hiccupped and vomited at the same time? Coz I did and it wasn’t very pleasant. I fucking feel bulimic today and I am finding it very frustrating. I made it to the laundry and let it all out. I realise that when I eat I need to concentrate on that task alone.
So tonight was dinner at mums and dads. I resisted and told them that I was fine and mum, who is a typical Greek mum says:
Ma: “Pleaz darlink, I cook dinner especialliez for you and your brother”
R: “but Ma, I don’t eat chicken anymore, remember I explained no more meat for me.”
Ma: “I know darlink but just try a little bit.”
So I gave in as mum had gone to so much trouble. Then WHAM ouch!! Ahhhh!!! Fuck!!!! It’s stuck. That’s fucking twice in one day. I don’t know how much more I can take of this. It’s really infuriating.
So what have I learnt today?
1- When I am eating I am to concentrate on just that task
2- No more chicken means no more chicken
3- Ask mum to make vegetarian chicken (I wonder if people will get this)

Dear Reney,
You poor thing, two times in one day. You do need to sit down do one thing at a time. Your band is still very new and it will take a while for you and your body to get used to it.
Shirls

You think melb was freezing, try coming to Geelong!! GEEEZ!!! me and mum went to bingo tonight (i know lol) walked outside and BAM instant headache from the cold! i have the heater on and still numb!!

I was driving down from Bendigo today for my 1st visit with the surgeon & the radio said rain in Melb & i thought that'id be right -i'm in hubbies car (no umbrella in here)so I got soaked leaving the appointment & walk/running back to the car (geezuz i'm unfit) Anyway, I start driving home & radio says snow in some parts & then just south of Woodend it dropped to 0 degrees & it was snowing heavily!! I took advantage of the 40km limit for what seemed like 100km's & enjoyed the moment - It was beautiful but i'm glad I spent most of the day in a heated car.

So Reney, do you think you're feeling the cold more with less cuddliness to keep you warm???? I'm hoping to be freezing my arse off this time next year!!! LOL! It's a shame that shivering isn't classed as aerobic exercise!!

LMFAO! Reney I'm sorry for going off topic, but I was reading the comments for your Danger Will Robinson entry and the one that said
