Woke up and jumped out of bed in a delightful state. Its Friday yeeeaaaaa, bring it on. I can’t wait for the weekend.
I drove to work singing “Everybody’s working for the weekend” that song from the 80’s by Canadian band Loverboy. (Yes I find a song in everything)
Got to work and I was like nobody is going to bring me down today, I am in a good mood and that’s all that matters. I walked in and remember I had to work with the Pleb dentist today…frikkin great!!! He makes my job very tedious. As soon as I walked in Dr Pleb said “Good Morning Reney..You look great you’ve lost a bit more weight haven’t you?” I took one look at him, and folks I was speechless. I stuttered a “yeblokshfsfhu” don’t know what the hell that means but dead set that’s what came out of mouth.
He followed me out to my desk and sat down next to me and started asking me how I was feeling. I got furry tongue I couldn’t respond. Then I got shitty with myself because I didn’t know how to respond to a nice compliment from someone I don’t really like. I gave him the power people!!!!! ARGHHHHHHHHH. (Yes I am a control freak and I have no problem saying that out aloud hahahahahaha). It was lovely of Dr Pleb. (But I still don’t like him)
Work was great and I worked my butt off. Gotta love those days when you go in and WHOOSH you get everything done and then you are rewarded by walking out the door by 4.oopm. Love it, love it, love it. I walked outside and started singing and dancing in the rain. I'm sure I looked most peculiar to any passers by but hey who cares its FRIDAY!!! Let the games begin.
I went out to my local shopping centre and bought a DVD called Tenacious D as I have a friend coming over to watch it with me and I am looking most forward to chilling out on the sofa and laughing my silly little head off. You have gotta love Jack Black he is THE funniest man next to Jerry Lewis of course.
