Day 162 – Coffee at the Bogan Pub

Its been a busy day today but nonetheless a happy day. Its great to finally begin my 5-day weekend. Ahhhhh total and utter bliss.

So lets get down to business and talk about food. My food intake has been great today and I am happy to say that my hunger has complete disappeared. Does this bother me? Absolutely no way. I could not be happier. Water on the other hand is causing me a little grief though. Sadly I have only managed 2 glasses today and I feel a dehydration headache coming on.

My work colleagues and I went to our local Bogan Pub straight after work tonight to celebrate (if that’s even the right word for it) or farewell a work colleague, as today was her last day with us. Tei is off to bigger and better things working for a prominent Oral Surgeon and I know she will be successful and well liked by her work colleagues. Good Luck Tei!

So here we all sat around chatting away and I had a “moment” that left me a tad surprised. . Now how fucked up is this? When I used to go to pubs I would drink and drink like a motherfucker and now all I had in a span of 3 odd hours was 2 cappuccinos. Like wazzz up????
Drinking coffee in a pub felt rather weird to me. My boss Andrew and his wife Maz were really funny as they kept asking me why I couldn’t drink. I kept explaining that I end up rather paralytic and no-one believes me so I told them that come time for our Xmas party I shall take 2 sips of alcohol and they could watch me fall down.

Some people after banding can still drink alcohol and have no problem and a few like myself cant drink at all. Its just a case of every body is different I guess. Anyways it’s all good I have fun with or without alcohol in my system and I don’t feel the need to get pissed and sloshed to be the be all and end all of going out on the town.

I then spent a few hours with ManBoy and we sat sipping lattes (more coffee for Insomniac Reney….an intelligent move on my behalf!! – that’s sarcasm) God I love spending time with him we have so much in common and we have so much fun together. God love ya little cotton socks ManBoy.

So that’s my very sedate day for you. All is going well and let the weekend begin as of NOW.

Stay happy y’all

Reney
