My dog is still very ill and has been under the watchful eye of our vet. He spent all of today at the vets from 8.00am until 6.00pm tonight, still with an IV drip in and in twilight sedation. His temp has dropped but is still considered high. I was called to come and sit with him from 5.00pm today and it was such a relief to finally see him and cuddle him.
Blood results are back and they are 99% certain that he has a doggy gastro. The poor little thing is in a rotten state. He has dropped 2.2 kilos in 1 week and that’s a lot of weight apparently in the animal world.
I just wanted to do a quick posting to say thanks to all my friends, family and blog readers (I consider you guys as friends) for all the get well wishes to Elvis. I appreciate it.
I have been awake since 6.30am Monday and I am doing weird stuff around the house due to being deliriously tired.
Anyways talk to you all soon and thanks again for your support.

Glad to hear that the mover and the groover Elvis is feeling a lot better Reney. He'll be fine...I just know it and he's in the best place he can be now. You get some rest and all will be better in the morning.

I am sure Elvis will be fine. He sounds like he is recieving excellent care. Remember to take care of yourself so you are fit and healthy when he comes home
